Wilmington Police have arrested a wanted man on drug charges.
On May 9, at approximately 6:32 p.m., members of the Uniformed Services Division were on patrol in the 700 block of West 8th Street, when they observed a wanted subject. Officers conducted a pedestrian stop on 38-year-old Tyrone Davis, who was taken into custody without incident. Davis was found to be in possession of .3 grams of heroin, 10.2 grams of crack cocaine, and $427.
Davis has been charged with the following offenses in addition to his active warrant:
- Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver – Two Counts
- Possession of a Controlled Substance in Tier 2 Quantity
He was arraigned in New Castle County Superior Court and was committed to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution on $25,000 cash-only bail.
