Week of May 15 - May 19, 2023*

• Traffic striping on Nassau Street and Witherspoon Street will be completed Friday, May 19, 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. Construction activities are not expected on Witherspoon Street for the Phase 1 Improvements. Punchlist items will be completed post-Memorial Day week. Housekeeping and site cleanup is anticipated.
  
  NJDOT's Project at the intersection of Nassau Street and Witherspoon Street is separate from the Witherspoon Street Phase I Improvements, however, the contractor, Earle Asphalt Co., is the same. There are different crews working on each project. The contractor will be on-site Monday, May 22 to complete traffic signal work.

• Lane closings or traffic shifts are not anticipated.
• The Witherspoon Street service lane between Nassau Street and Spring Street (west side) is fully open.

  Parking:
  Monday-Thursday, 30 min limit, 10 am-8 pm
  Friday-Saturday, 30 min limit, 10 am-9 pm
  Sunday, 30 min limit, 1 pm-8 pm
  Stopping in the travel lane (east side), and blocking the crosswalk near Tulane Yard and/or intersections to load or unload is prohibited.

• New trash carts have been delivered for some residents on Witherspoon Street. Residents should use the new carts and place them in front of their building front on collection days.
• Trash and recycling collection for businesses on both the west and east side between Nassau Street and Hulfish Street can occur curbside in front of the respective business. Businesses whose collection is in Tulane Yard should be collected as normal.
