* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Portions of Collin and Denton County in North Texas.
* WHEN...Until 530 PM CDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will likely cause urban and small stream flooding. Low lying and/or poor drainage areas will experience minor flooding in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Dallas, Plano, McKinney, Carrollton, Frisco, Denton, Richardson, Lewisville, Allen, Flower Mound, Grapevine, Coppell, The Colony, Southlake, Corinth, Highland Village, Lake Dallas, Lake Lewisville, Little Elm and Prosper.
