On 05/15/23 at 1005 hours, the male victim, 55, was working in an area business when the suspect entered and attempted to steal merchandise. The suspect tried to strike the victim with an object but missed. The suspect fled the area but was arrested today. ARRESTED: Sophak Norn, 40, for attempt robbery.
2. Person Shot (0857) 1800 Block of East Main Street, Park District
The male victim, 57, was in the listed area when the four suspects got out of a car and approached him. One of the female suspects shot the victim. SUSPECTS: Two Hispanic female adults and two Hispanic male adults.
3. Carjacking (1145) Wilson Way and Lindsay Street, Park District
The female victim, 41, was driving in the listed area when she was assaulted by the suspect. The victim fled from the car and the suspect drove her car away. SUSPECT: Hispanic male adult.
