SUSPECT(S): Shamyia Roberts, 28-year-old resident of Long Beach
VICTIM(S): Victoria's Secret
SUMMARY: On May, 10, 2023, at about 8:03 p.m., Shamyia Roberts and an unknown black female adult entered the business and concealed unpaid mechandise valued at over $3500. Both suspects bypassed cash registers as they walked to the exit door. One of the two suspects shoved an employee as they exited the business. The victim had complaint of pain from the assault.
On May, 18, 2023, Chino Hills detectives and Chino Hills Multi-Enforcemnt Team members served a search warrant at a residence in Long Beach. Roberts was taken into custody and evidence related to the investigation was recovered. Roberts was booked for robbery and grand theft at the West Valley Detention Center.
