TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Planned road closures in downtown Los Altos for the Pet Parade, Saturday, May 20th 
The 76th Annual Kiwanis Pet Parade in Downtown Los Altos is (today) Saturday, May 20th @ 10:00 AM. The parade will begin at First and Main Streets; travel down Main Street, and turn up State Street and finish at First Street.
All of Main, State, First, Second, Third and Fourth Streets will be closed to vehicular traffic beginning at 7:30 AM this morning, including the first two aisles of Plaza North between First and Second Streets, and Plaza Central between First and Second Streets.
Edith Avenue will remain open for vehicular traffic from San Antonio Road to Foothill Blvd.
Parking Options:
Attendees can park at the Civic Center lot located at 1 N. San Antonio Road or at the Community Center located at 97 Hillview Avenue.
Handicap parking will be located at South Plaza between Second and Third, plus there is additional handicap parking in both plazas adjacent to Third Street.
Central Plaza will not be accessible due to the street closures; however, access to all outer parking plazas will be maintained.
The parade will finish at approximately 11:00 AM. Cleanup will follow and all streets are planned to re-open by 12:00 PM.
