Due to transformer fires in the area of Lincoln Avenue between Lincoln Park East and Broad Street, as well as Elm Street near Mansion Terrace, roadways remain CLOSED due to ongoing PSE&G and Fire Department activity. Residents are asked to remain clear of the area during this time.
We have been advised that traffic lights in the immediate area, including Lincoln at Walnut, Lincoln at Centennial, and South at Centennial have been affected by this outage. Please use alternate routes as our Traffic Bureau responds to the scene.
PSE&G has been dispatched and an expedited response has been requested by on-duty police personnel.
