1. Armed Robbery (1520) 5900 Block of Eldon Way, Valley Oak District
The male victim, 23, was in the area when he was confronted by two suspects, one armed with a firearm. The suspects assaulted the victim and took his property. SUSPECTS: Two Asian males wearing dark clothing.
2. Resisting Arrest (1704) Anderson Street and Madison Street, Seaport District
Officers responded to the area to investigate a disturbance. They located the suspect, who was under the influence of drugs. The suspect resisted arrest, and officers used a taser to take him into custody. ARRESTED: Adrian Zaragoza, 29, for being under the influence of drugs in public and resisting arrest.
3. Battery on an Officer (2345) 00 Block of West Main Street, Civic District
Officers responded to the area on a report of a disturbance. Upon arrival, officers arrested the suspect for vandalism. While being processed at the county jail, the suspect spat and kicked officers. The officers applied a spit net to prevent the suspect from spitting at officers. Neither the officers nor the suspect were injured in the incident. ARRESTED: Alisha Chaffin, 40, for vandalism, public intoxication, and battery on officers.
