On Saturday, February 25, 2023, at approximately 10:34 PM, Corcoran Police Officers were dispatched to the Take 10 Deli located at 1400 Dairy Avenue regarding a shooting. Upon arrival, Corcoran Officers located numerous spent casings in the parking lot indicating that a shooting had taken place. Officers were not able to find any evidence to believe anyone was struck by the gunfire. UPDATE: Corcoran Police Detectives responded to the scene and took over the investigation. Based on the investigation, detectives were able to identify one of the shooters as Vincent Zamarripa. Vincent is a convicted felon and prohibited from possessing firearms and/or ammunition. Detectives authored a warrant for Vincent for being in violation of 29800(A)(1) PC- Felon possessing a firearm. On Saturday, May 20, 2023, at approximately 11:00 AM, Deputies with the Kings County Sheriff Office located and arrested Vincent for the issued warrant. Vincent was booked into the Kings County Jail where he is currently being held on no bail for numerous warrants.
