Investigation Advisory: Beaufort City Police Officers respond to a report of multiple shots fired.
On Tuesday, May 23rd, 2023 at approximately 6:17 pm, Beaufort City Police Officers responded to a report of multiple sounds of shots fired near Spanish Trace Apartments on Southside Blvd.
Multiple shell casings were located and at least two houses were struck by rounds. An area canvass revealed there were no injuries reported at the residences and witnesses described a gold sedan and dark sedan leaving the area in opposite directions.
