Work will resume on Tuesday, May 30 on Seaway Drive over Black Creek. Starting at 8:30am on Tuesday, single lane closures will be in place on northbound and southbound Seaway Drive between US-31 and Hoyt Street. By Thursday, 6/1 the lane closures will be shifted to the southbound roadway with a single lane of traffic maintained in each direction. Detours will be in place for Grand Haven Road and Getty Street as detailed below. The lane closures, traffic shift and detours will remain in place until late November.

The left turn will be closed for traffic exiting Grand Haven Road trying to go north/west toward Norton Shores/Muskegon. NB traffic will be detoured down to the US-31/I-96 interchange to utilize the loop ramps to come back on Seaway Drive (US-31BR).
Getty Street will be closed. All traffic will be directed to utilize what’s called the “Airline Connector” which is just to the NW of Getty and Airline Highway.
