Full Notification

Both lanes of Main Street (Illinois 1) will be closed between the intersections of Main Street and Oak Street and Main Street and 4^th Street beginning June 1, 2023.  The closure is anticipated to last several weeks.  Illinois Department of Transportation will be removing and replacing a culvert under Main Street, along with the relocation of water and sewer lines.  Alternate routes should be used.  The City of Carmi regrets any inconvenience.
