UCPD Celebrates National Night Out - August 1, 2023
The 40th Annual National Night Out celebration will be hosted by the Union City Police Department at the Union Landing Shopping Center on Tuesday, August 1, 2023. National Night Out (NNO) - America’s Night Out Against Crime is a unique opportunity for law enforcement and the community to celebrate and promote safer communities through partnership.

Union City Police Department will host a one-location Block Party with multiple activities. We will have activities, music, food, and entertainment. The city council and city officials will be stopping by for this event.
National Night Out is a family-friendly event that educates residents about public safety, heightens crime prevention awareness, encourages support and participation in anti-crime programs, and strengthens community and law enforcement partnerships. In the past, these partnerships between community members and law enforcement have brought great value to our community. At NNO, our public safety personnel will be distributing promotional and educational material to our neighbors.
We are contacting local businesses who may be interested in sponsoring this event or who can offer a donation to help assist with the associated costs. We are requesting sponsorships and/or grants which would help the police department fund this event and other outreach events later this year (budget information about these events are available upon request). Any financial assistance or product donations for raffle prizes would be greatly appreciated! In addition, if you are interested in having a booth for NNO, there is no cost or fee.
