* At 957 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Tucumcari, moving east at 15 mph. THIS IS A DESTRUCTIVE STORM FOR TUCUMCARI! HAZARD...Baseball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be severely injured. Expect shattered windows, extensive damage to roofs, siding, and vehicles.
* Locations impacted include... Tucumcari. This includes the following highways... Interstate 40 between Mile Markers 325 and 346. State Road 104 between Mile Markers 96 and 105.
* AFFECTED AREAS: QUAY, NM ... SAN MIGUEL, NM
