Wilmington Police announce June 15 Community Resource Fair: 
As the Wilmington Police Department continues its monthly Community Resource Fair series, our next program will be held outdoors on Thursday, June 15 from 4-6 p.m. in Cool Springs Park (North Jackson Street and Park Place).
Launched last year as an expansion of past celebrations of National Night Out, the WPD Community Resource Fairs have been organized to invite members of the public to interact with police officers representing various assignments and positions at WPD, as well as a range of government, nonprofit and community service providers who serve the City of Wilmington and its residents. Programs this year have been held at the Police Athletic League of Wilmington, the William “Hicks” Anderson Community Center, the MSK Community Center and Helen Chambers Park.
This event is free and open to the public, and there will be food and plenty of public safety-related giveaways.
Pre-registration for partners/vendors is required, and is limited to government and nonprofit organizations providing free services to Wilmington residents.
