Wilmington Police have arrested a female juvenile in connection to a shots fired incident.

On May 3, at approximately 7:13 p.m., members of the Uniformed Services Division responded to the 2700 block of West Street, in reference to a shots fired incident. The case was assigned to Detective Justin Wilkers of the Criminal Investigations Division.

Through the course of his investigation Detective Wilkers identified a 17-year-old female juvenile as a suspect and obtained warrants for her arrest. On May 23, the female juvenile was taken into custody without incident.

The 17-year-old female juvenile has been charged with the following offenses:

• Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony
• Reckless Endangering (First Degree) – Two Counts
