Custer County DES has reported water over the Kinsey Highway at mile markers 13 - 14. It is always best to avoid contact with floodwater over highways and roads because of the unpredictability of the water flow and speed of the water. Please use an alternative route if at all possible.
When driving through floodwater areas, drive in low gear to protect the car. and drive slowly. Keep your foot on the gas and use the brake to regulate speed.
