* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
* WHERE...Portions of east central and northeast New Mexico, including the following areas, in east central New Mexico, Curry County, Quay County and Roosevelt County. In northeast New Mexico, Eastern San Miguel County and Harding County.
* WHEN...Through this evening.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Area creeks and streams are running high and could flood with more heavy rain.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - The threat for heavy rainfall and flooding will continue over many areas of eastern New Mexico where very heavy rain has fallen the past few days. Any additional rainfall will quickly cause flash flooding. Thunderstorms through tonight will be capable of producing 1 to 2 inches of rainfall over just one to two hours. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
