INCIDENT: FATAL TRAFFIC COLLISION

On Tuesday, May 30, 2023, at about 5:06 AM, Pomona Police Dispatch received a call of an injury traffic collision involving a sedan and a large commercial vehicle in the 4100 block of W. Valley Blvd. Officers located the two involved vehicles, and rendered aid to two injured parties in the sedan. L. A. County Fire Department responded to treat and assess the injuries. The injured driver was transported to a nearby hospital with moderate injuries; the injured passenger unfortunately succumbed to their injuries and were pronounced deceased. The driver of the large commercial vehicle was uninjured, and is cooperating with the investigation.
