Police Seek Public's Help Identifying Burglary Suspects
Newark Public Safety Director Fritz Fragé requests the public’s help with identifying the below-pictured suspects, who stole an ATM machine from a grocery store on May 19, 2023.
Police responded to the incident, which occurred at approximately 2:45 a.m. at Jiminez Grocery Store, located in the 300 block of 14th Avenue. On surveillance video, three male suspects entered the store through an unlocked cellar door. Once inside, two of the three suspects took the ATM machine and carried it down the street to the vehicle pictured below. They put the ATM machine into the trunk of a light-colored gold or silver Nissan Quest, which all three suspects got into and left traveling south on S. 15th Street. All three suspects were wearing dark-colored clothing with face masks and gloves
