Wilmington Police have arrested a man on gun charges.
On May 25, at approximately 7:39 p.m., members of the Uniformed Services Division responded to the 400 block of West 34th Street in reference to a large fight. Officers attempted to make contact with a subject, who fled on foot. Following a brief foot pursuit, 18-year-old Tahir Corbin was taken into custody without incident. Corbin was found to be in possession of a loaded 9mm handgun.
Corbin has been charged with the following offenses:
- Carrying a Concealed Deadly Weapon
- Resisting Arrest
He was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 11 and was released on $3,500 unsecured bail.
