Wilmington Police have arrested a wanted man on drug charges.
On May 29, at approximately 5:49 p.m., members of the Uniformed Services Division were in the 100 block of North Franklin Street, when they observed a wanted subject. Officers made contact with 26-year-old Victor Buitron, who was taken into custody without incident. Following a brief investigation, officers recovered 14.9 grams of crack cocaine.
Buitron has been charged with the following offense in addition to his active warrant:
- Possession of a Controlled Substance in Tier 2 Quantity
He was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 11 and was released on $1,000 unsecured bail.
