* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of east central New Mexico, including the following counties, Curry, Quay and Roosevelt.
* WHEN...Until 315 PM MDT.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Low-water crossings are inundated with water and may not be passable. This includes Frio Draw in Curry County.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1204 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area. Between 1.00 and 2.50 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Melrose, Grady, Broadview, Wheatland and Bellview. - State Routes 209, 252, 268 and 275 may be impacted by flooding. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
