RRA The National Weather Service in Albuquerque has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for... Northeastern De Baca County in east central New Mexico... Southwestern Quay County in east central New Mexico... East central Guadalupe County in east central New Mexico...

* Until 715 PM MDT.

* At 627 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 13 miles northeast of Sumner Lake State Park, or 19 miles north of Fort Sumner, moving east at 20 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of northeastern De Baca, southwestern Quay and east central Guadalupe Counties.

* AFFECTED AREAS: DE BACA, NM ... GUADALUPE, NM ... QUAY, NM

Instructions:

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building. Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways. Accumulations of hail on roads can create very slick and hazardous driving conditions.
