The Green Bay Police Department made five arrests during a reported disturbance at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Avenue, which caused non-life-threatening injuries to two people including an officer.
Police were dispatched just after 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 1, 2023, where they found approximately 30 people fighting. Officers were eventually able to de-escalate the situation.
Witnesses reported that there was a disagreement because a visitor was asked to leave services in progress for allegedly causing disruption.
The Green Bay Police Department was assisted by additional law enforcement agencies.
