1. Assault with a Deadly Weapon (0950) 2500 Block of Country Club Boulevard, Civic District
The male victim, 19, told the suspect to leave the property and the suspect swung a bladed weapon at the victim. The victim was able to avoid the attack and was uninjured. SUSPECT: Adult male.
2. Weapon Arrest (1141) Arriba Road and Volney Street, Park District
Officers located a suspect wanted for a robbery. They attempted a traffic stop but the suspect failed to yield leading officers on a pursuit. The suspect fled from the vehicle but was later taken into custody. ARRESTED: Odell Jones, 31, for robbery, felony evading and weapon charges.
