1. Carjacking (1512) 600 Block of Macduff Avenue, Bear Creek District
The male victim, 76, was parked in the area when the suspect approached. The suspect assaulted the victim and pulled him from the vehicle before fleeing in it. The victim sustained minor injuries and declined medical attention. SUSPECT: Black male, heavy set wearing dark clothing.
2. Robbery (0010) 100 Block of East Martin Luther King Boulevard, Seaport District
The male victim, 17, was riding his bicycle in the listed area when the suspects pushed him off his bike and assaulted him. The suspects fled the area after stealing the victim’s property. The victim was transported to an area hospital for a non-life-threatening injury. SUSPECTS: Six male juveniles.
3. Shooting into a Dwelling (0205) 1600 Block of Veronese Way, Lakeview District
Several victims were inside their residence when they heard gunshots. The victim’s residence and vehicle were struck by gunfire. No injuries were reported. There is no suspect information.
4. Traffic Fatality (0300) Airport Way and Washington Street, Park District
Officers responded to the area on a reported traffic accident, involving a pedestrian. The pedestrian was pronounced deceased and the suspect vehicle fled the scene. Traffic personnel responded to assist with the investigation.
