The Memorial Day murder suspect is now in custody, SHERIFF LEVON ALLEN. 
On May 29th, Clayton County Police responded to a person shot call at an address near Reynolds Rd in Forest Park. Upon their arrival, they found a person down suffering from 3 gunshot wounds. The victim was immediately rushed to an area Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
On 6/02/23, Clayton County Police Detectives were able to identify and take warrants on Xavier Cabbell for the following charges:
1. Felony Murder
2. Aggravated Assault
3. Reckless Conduct
4. Possession of a weapon during a crime
5. Possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
SHERIFF LEVON ALLEN immediately activated his Elite Fugitive Squad. Within a few hours of the warrants being signed by a Judge, the Elite Fugitive Squad and the Elite Cobra Unit had the house he was hiding in surrounded. With no place to run, Xavier Cabbell was taken into custody without incident.
He is now in Clayton County Jail to answer to this Memorial Day tragedy.
