Severe Thunderstorm Warning until 10:30PM Saturday

The National Weather Service in San Angelo has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for... South central Crockett County in west central Texas...

* Until 1030 PM CDT.

* At 947 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near The Intersection Of I-10 And Highway 290, or 16 miles east of Sheffield, moving south at 20 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of south central Crockett County, including the following locations... The Intersection Of Ranch Road 2083 And Highway 405, Ft Lancaster, The Intersection Of I-10 And Highway 405 and The Intersection Of I-10 And Highway 290. This includes Interstate 10 between Mile Markers 330 and 356.

* AFFECTED AREAS: CROCKETT, TX

They will send your report to the National Weather Service office in San Angelo. Large hail and damaging winds and continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm. Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
