Air Quality Alerts in place across WI and parts of MN
Wildfire smoke from Quebec has been moving south from Canada today and has reached the level of "Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups" at the monitoring site in Odanah this afternoon. These conditions are expected to continue throughout the rest of Monday and overnight, improving Tueday morning.
Youth, elders, and those with breathing conditions or diseases may feel impacts from reduced air quality at the current monitored level. Healthy adults may not feel any effects.
Sensitive groups are encouraged to avoid strenuous activities and limit their time spent outside. A HEPA-approved air filter used inside can help reduce air pollutants, especially while sleeping.
