OKMULGEE OFFICER SHOOTER IN CUSTODY 
OKMULGEE, OK (June 5, 2023) – Christopher Harris wanted for the June 1, 2023 shooting of Okmulgee Police Officer Dustin Clark has been apprehended.
On June 5, 2023, authorities received a tip Harris may be in a room at the Bel Air motel in Okmulgee. Local officers went to the motel and did not find Harris in the initial room reported. They made contact with an individual in another room. Once U.S. Marshal Service personnel arrived, positive identification of that individual as being Harris was made.
Harris was taken into custody and booked into the Okmulgee County jail for shooting with intent to kill and a federal warrant.
