Wilmington Police have arrested a juvenile male on gun and drug charges.

On May 30, at approximately 1: 23 p.m., members of the Drug, Organized Crime, and Vice Division were in the 700 block of West 7^th Street, when they observed a juvenile male acting in a suspicious manner. Officers made contact with a 17-year-old juvenile male, who was found to be in possession of a loaded 9mm handgun, 6 grams of crack cocaine, 10 grams of marijuana, and $365. He was taken into custody without incident.

The 17-year-old juvenile male has been charged with the following offenses:

• Possession of a Firearm or Ammunition by a Person Prohibited – Three Counts
• Carrying a Concealed Deadly Weapon
• Possession of a Controlled Substance in Tier 1 Quantity
