Door to Door Solicitation 
We have received several calls about persons going door to door selling Pest Control within the Township. At this time NO licenses have been issued to any solicitors in Tewksbury.
Licensed solicitors must be in possession of a visible identification card issued by the Township and they must produce it at the request of any person demanding same.
Unless specifically having been invited to a dwelling by an occupant or having previously made an appointment, the hours during which a licensee may be active in the Township are from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday. No solicitation may be conducted on Sundays or any federal or state holiday.
No solicitor shall enter onto any property on which is located a sign or signs that states "NO SOLICITORS," "NO SOLICITING," "DO NOT KNOCK" and/or "NO TRESPASSING" or carrying a similar message forbidding the entry of any persons onto the property. Notice shall also include verbal communication that the individual does not wish to be solicited at any time.
