Police Seek Public's Help Locating Newark Man Wanted for Burglary
Newark Public Safety Director Fritz Fragé reports that an arrest warrant has been issued for Curtis Spears, 59, of Newark, who stole tools from a restaurant he broke into on June 1, 2023.
Police responded to the incident, which occurred at approximately 12 a.m. at NexLevel Eatery, located in the 200 block of 16th Avenue. Spears, who has been charged with burglary, theft, and criminal mischief, was captured on surveillance video breaking a rear glass door and taking a leaf blower and extension cords from the business.
He is 6’1,” weighs 200-240 pounds, and has brown eyes, a bald head, and a light brown complexion.
