This is Township Manager Dean Kazinci with an important message:

An Air Quality Alert has been declared for the remainder of today, and all day tomorrow due to wildfire smoke transport from eastern Canada.

A thick haze of smokey air will continue to blanket our area for the next 36 hours. Sensitive individuals, including those with heart or lung disease, the elderly, and the young should limit strenuous activities and the amount of time active outdoors. Keep windows closed whenever possible.
 
Please be aware that our emergency services are aware of this smoke condition. If in doubt, always call 9-1-1.
