NO OPEN BURNING AIR QUALITY ALERT IN EFFECT UNTIL MIDNIGHT EDT TONIGHT 
No Open Burning Effective Immediately Through At Least 8am Thursday June 8.
The North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality in Raleigh NC has issued a Code Orange Air Quality Action Day for Fine Particulates for Madison, Buncombe, Henderson, Haywood, Jackson, Swain, Graham, Macon, and Transylvania Counties, until midnight EDT tonight.
An Air Quality Action Day means that Fine Particulates concentrations within the region may approach or exceed unhealthy standards.

No open burning until further notice per WNC Air Quality. Those with health issues should avoid extended periods outdoors today.
