Special Olympics Torch Run, Friday June 9, 2023 at 8:00AM starting at S. Coles and Martin Ave. continuing onto Main St. to Camden Ave. 
The Maple Shade Police Department will be participating in the 40th Annual Special Olympics Torch Run this Friday June 9, 2023. Runners from The Maple Shade Police Department as well as local students will be taking the torch "The Flame of Hope" from the Cherry Hill Police Department at South Coles Avenue and Martin Avenue at approximately 8:00 AM . Runners will travel northbound on South Coles Avenue to West Main Street then eastbound to Camden Avenue in Moorestown, passing the torch to the Moorestown Township Police Department. Come out and cheer them on.
Traffic delays will occur during this event so please plan alternate routes if possible.
