INCIDENT: PC 529(A)(2) - False Impersonation of Another
LOCATION: 1600 Block of Lilly Hill, Needles, CA
SUSPECT(S): Arli Brown, 20 Years-Old, Resident of Needles, CA
VICTIM(S): Confidential
SUMMARY: On Tuesday, June 6, 2023, at approximately 7:45 p.m., deputies from the Colorado River Station / Needles Police Department came in contact with Arli Brown during a traffic enforcement stop near the the 1600 block of Lilly Hill in Needles, CA. Brown presented deputies with an Arizona driver's license belonging to another person. Brown insisted multiple times that she was the person listed on the Arizona driver's license she provided. Through investigation, Brown was found to be using a lost/stolen Arizona driver's license.
Arli Brown was consequently arrested for PC 529(A)(2) - False Impersonation of Another. Brown was transported to the Colorado River Station jail for booking where she was positively identified. Brown was also found to have an outstanding warrant for miscellaneous drug charges and PC 148.9(A)- Giving False Information to a Police Officer. Brown remains in the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department, with a bail amount of $30,000.00, awaiting a court hearing.
