Deputies Arrest Man for Outstanding Warrants During Search Warrant Service in Needles

DATE/TIME: Tuesday, June 6, 2023, at approximately 6:05 a.m.

INCIDENT: Felony Warrant Arrest for HS 11370.1(a) - Possession of a Controlled Substance While Armed and PC 29800(A)(1) - Felon in Possession of a Firearm

LOCATION: 200 Block of C Street, Needles, CA

SUSPECT(S): James Day, 47 Years-Old, Resident of Needles, CA

VICTIM(S): State of California


SUMMARY: On Tuesday, June 6, 2023, at approximately 6:05 a.m., deputies from the Colorado River Station/Needles Police Department made contact with James Day during a warrant service. Day was found to have a felony warrant for HS 11370.1(a) - Possession of a Controlled Substance while Armed and PC 29800(A)(1) - Felon in Possession of a Firearm.

Day was consequently arrested and transported to the Colorado River Station for booking. Day remains in the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department, with bail set at $50,000.00, awaiting a court hearing.
