A message from Cinnaminson Township:

New Jersey has declared an Air Quality Action Day for Particulate Matter (PM2.5) for Wednesday, June 7 and Thursday, June 8.

Levels of fine particulates have risen into the unhealthy category statewide due to wildfire smoke from the eastern Canadian wildfires. 

All individuals should limit strenuous activities and the amount of time spent active outdoors especially in the evening hours. In addition, ozone is forecast to reach the moderate category as sunny skies, light winds, and warm temperatures are forecast for the Garden State.

Those with heart or lung disease, elderly, and young children may experience more serious health effects.
