Full Notification

On 6/7/23, at 2329 hours, SVPD Officers observed an occupied vehicle parked to the front of a liquor store near First St. and Los Angeles Ave.  Upon conducting a records check of the license plate, they discovered the vehicle had been reported stolen out of Bakersfield, CA.  Officers contacted four occupants in the car, including a 16-year-old driver who resides in Ventura, CA.  The juvenile was ultimately arrested for driving a stolen vehicle.  He was later booked at Juvenile Hall.

Through their investigation, officers learned that another male subject was involved in the stealing of the vehicle.  This subject was not one of the four occupants in the car.  SVPD Officers were able to locate the suspect as he was walking through a nearby neighborhood.  The suspect was identified as Davion Williams, a 23-year-old male who resides in Bakersfield, CA.  He was arrested for unlawfully taking a vehicle and was later booked at the East Valley Jail.
