Air Quality Update - Bordentown Township OEM
The following update is being provided by the Bordentown Township Office of Emergency Management. On Friday, June 9th, another Air Quality Action Day has been declared for Particulate Matter. Fine particulate levels will remain elevated in the unhealthy category for sensitive groups due to residual Canadian wildfire smoke. Ozone levels are expected to improve with the chance of rain. There may be times during the day when air quality is OK for outdoor activities, but people with heart or lung disease, older adults, children, and teens should reduce their exposure by choosing less strenuous activities or shortening the amount of time you are active outdoors.
