On 6/10/2023 at approximately 9:55 PM, Deputies responded to US Highway 41 and Hasselburger Ave in northern Vigo County in reference to a motorcycle vs. car crash. Once on scene, Deputies learned the motorcycle was southbound on US Highway 41 and struck the passenger car that was crossing US Highway 41 eastbound from 13th St. The driver of the motorcycle was transported to Methodist Hospital by helicopter due to their injuries. The driver of the car was transported to the hospital where they tested negative for drugs and alcohol. The crash reconstruction team assisted on scene.
