Attention Deertrail residents & commuters: UPDATE - the road is clear, workers remain in the area to finish removing the tree.
Update: The road has been opened, but workers are still in the area cutting the tree back further. Thank you for your continued caution as they finish the job today.
A tree has fallen on Deertrail Drive between Greenwater and Paramount. This has led to a restriction in the usual traffic flow, reducing the available lanes to one.
The Bear Valley Police Department is currently on site, directing traffic and ensuring safety. We ask that all drivers approach the area cautiously and obey any instructions given by the officer on duty.
The CSD road crew has been notified and is en route to clear the fallen tree as quickly and safely as possible. We recommend using alternative routes to avoid delays until the tree is completely removed and the road is back to its full capacity.
Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work towards restoring the road to normalcy. We appreciate your cooperation during this temporary disruption.
