1. Resisting Arrest (1706) Hunter Street and Market Street, Civic District
Officers attempted to arrest a wanted subject, but he fled, leading the officers on a short foot chase. The suspect eventually surrendered and was taken into custody without further incident. ARRESTED: Dallas Thomas, 37, for resisting arrest and an outstanding warrant.
2. Weapon Arrest (2031) 00 Block of North Center Street, Civic District
Officers investigated a disturbance complaint and contacted the suspect. During a search of her vehicle, officers located a firearm. ARRESTED: Khaila Curtis, 28, for weapons charges, and outstanding warrants.
3. Assault with a Deadly Weapon (0140) 2100 Block of Fontana Avenue, Civic District
The male vIctim, 44, was in the area when the suspects struck him with an object, causing him to fall to the ground. The victim fought back, and the suspects eventually fled the area. The victim was treated at ar area hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. SUSPECTS: Two unknown race males.
4. Arson (0345) 1300 Block of East Hammer Lane, Valley Oak District
The female victim, 45, was in a verbal argument with the suspect who lit her tent on fire prior to fleeing the area. SUSPECT: Black male adult.
