* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for... Cullman County in north central Alabama...
* Until 200 PM CDT.
* At 1259 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Brushy Lake to near Poplar Springs to near Brilliant, moving southeast at 50 mph. HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Trained weather spotters. At 1255 PM, a HAM radio operator relayed a report of quarter sized hail in Pebble, AL in Winston County as well as numerous power outages. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.
* Locations impacted include... Cullman, Hanceville, Good Hope, Holly Pond, Dodge City, Baldwin, Vinemont, West Point, Garden City and Colony.
* AFFECTED AREAS: CULLMAN, AL

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building. Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms. Move indoors immediately.
