The Bear Valley CSD has an open Director position, and we're inviting you to join our team. The new Board member will be warmly welcomed at our Special Board Meeting on July 6, 2023, at 6 pm.

We'd be thrilled to consider you for this role. If you are interested, please send a letter of interest. Also, we encourage you to answer the provided questions—it's an excellent opportunity for us to understand your perspective better. We'd love to see you at the meeting, where you'll have a chance to introduce yourself to the Board before the appointment is made.

Thank you for your interest in serving our community, expressed by your desire to be appointed to the Board of Directors of Bear Valley Community Services District.

The Board of Directors has asked that interested applicants submit a Letter of Interest for their review prior to filling the vacancy. The appointment will take place at a Special Meeting called by the Board President for 6:00 pm, July 6, 2023. While it is not a requirement, including answers to the following questions will greatly assist the Board in the selection process. Upon submission, all materials will become part of the public record and will be included in the Agenda package for the July 6, 2023 Special Board Meeting.

Submitting a Letter of Interest, or addressing the questions below, is not mandatory, however, to assure the Board has sufficient time to review submissions, they must be received by noon, July 5, 2023.

1. How long have you been a resident of Bear Valley Springs?

2. Describe your level of involvement in the community up until now.

3. What is your motivation for applying for the Bear Valley CSD Board of Directors, and why do you believe you are qualified? Please cite relevant examples such as prior government experience, attendance or participation at Board and/or Committee meetings, professional background, community involvement and volunteer activities.

4. Please describe your knowledge of District operations, the services the District provides, the laws governing the District, sources of funding, and the working relationship between the Bear Valley CSD and the Bear Valley Springs Association.
