Support the Cause: The Annual Law Enforcement Torch Run for the Special Olympics Makes its Way Back to Fairfield on Tuesday, June 20
It’s that time again!
@FairfieldPolice and our law enforcement partners, @TravisAFB @Solano County Probation, and @SuisunPD are excited to be a part of the annual Law Enforcement Torch Run for @SpecialOlympicsNCA!
Every year, hundreds of agencies come together to carry the Flame of Hope throughout NorCal enroute to the Special Olympics Summer Games. The Torch Run raises funds & awareness for local Special Olympics athletes.
On Tuesday, June 20, The Fairfield Police Department will carry the “Flame of Hope” through our city during the 2023 Law Enforcement Torch Run. Fairfield PD will run alongside our Special Olympic Athletes championing for inclusion and acceptance of children and adults with disabilities in our community and world-wide. If you happen to see our Fairfield PD motor officers escorting our athletes through the city, honk or wave in support of their cause!
Be The Change. You too can pledge support for our Special Olympic Athletes! https://p2p.onecause.com/letrtorchrun/team/fairfield-police-department. #CelebrateInclusion
