The Plainfield Police Department would like to advise residents that there has been an uptick in vehicle and entries to unlocked car doors throughout the City. As a reminder, please lock your car doors at all times, do not leave your keys or key fob in your vehicle and remove any valuable items from view. Also ensure your homes window and doors are locked. Keys to vehicles and other items have been taken these incidents.
