INCIDENT: P.C. 69-Resisting Officer, H&S 11378- Possession of Controlled Substance for Sales, PC 1203.2 Probation Violation, PC 33215- Weapons Warrant
LOCATION: 13000 block of Birch Street, Trona
SUSPECT: Jason Schufletowski, 47-year-old resident of Trona
SUMMARY: On Thursday, June 8, 2023, Deputy Perkins from the Trona Sub Station contacted a suspect, later identified as Jason Schufletowski, outside of a residence on the 13000 block of Birch Street. Perkins knew Schufletowski had an active felony warrant for a weapons violation out of the city of Ridgecrest and knew Schufletowski was currently on active parole in Kern County. Deputy Perkins along with Corporal Woytovich successfully detained Schufletowski after a brief struggle.
Schufletowski was found in possession of approximately 48 grams of a white crystalline substance, about $450.00, a scale, and other drug related paraphernalia. Schufletowski was transported to High Desert Detention Center and booked for, P.C. 69-Resisting Officer, H&S 11378- Possession of Controlled Substance for Sales, PC 1203.2 Probation Violation, and PC 33215- Weapons Warrant
